About McGill BioDesign
McGill BioDesign is an official Engineering Undergraduate Society design team whose goal is to address real world issues by finding solutions at the intersection of engineering, biology, and business. We work on biotechnology projects to present at competitions and give research experience to students, provide a community for like-minded students from a range of backgrounds, and offer networking and professional development opportunities through workshops and tutorials.
We are looking for talented, motivated people with an interest in bioengineering and/or biotechnology and design. We accept students from any year and major. Learn more about our recruitment process and apply for open positions here.
BioDesign is currently recruiting for VP Social and VP Outreach positions, a scientific writing/editing position as well as various coordinator positions.
We are currently not recruiting new research members.
You can also follow us on our social media pages to learn about our next recruitment opportunities.
We use engineering and design principles to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems. We have worked on a wide variety of projects, from bacterial cellulose wound dressings to a water filtration backpack. You can view our current and past projects here.
